What jobs does Sternico offer in which specialisms?
Our focus is the development of software products for the railway industry and also projects for our customers in the railway world. We have expertise in computer science, vehicle technology / mechanical engineering and railways.
Which technologies are you currently using?
We develop our core product based on MS Azure, .Net Core and Angular. We also use Java and C++ for some products.
I can't find a suitable position. Does an unsolicited application make sense?
If you are interested in the world of railroads and have already worked in this environment or if you are interested in the TechStack .Net, Java or C++, an unsolicited application makes perfect sense.
What information do you need from me to start a dialogue?

How do you organise your job interviews?
For us, the focus is on dialog. It’s about getting to know each other as equals and not about “interviews” or “job interviews”
What is the best way to prepare for the interviews?
Be yourself and be relaxed. In the technical part, we usually want to see something that you have developed yourself in terms of software or perhaps a concept that you have created.
Can I apply for more than one position?
Of course you can do that, but we always check our recruiting department to see if there are any other positions that might suit you. Sometimes we already know of requirements from the specialist departments that are not yet advertised. Then it makes sense to send us an unsolicited application, for example.

How does our application process work?
Step 1

In an interview with our recruiting department, we get to know each other and discuss mutual expectations and open questions.
Step 4
You will get to know your future department and exchange professional and technical information with your future manager and our experts. You will also find out more about the tasks, methods and technologies used in the position you are applying for and have the opportunity to present your own project that is close to your heart.
Step 5
We look forward to your visit with us. Get to know some of your future colleagues and take a look at your future working environment. We want you to feel completely at home with us.
