What opportunities are there for students at Sternico, e.g. internships, student traineeships or dissertations?

We offer interested students a wide range of opportunities to work directly with us as a student trainee or to complete voluntary or compulsory internships. There is also the opportunity to write your dissertation or thesis with us. Anyone who is also interested in our expertise in software development and the railway world is welcome to contact us.

What experience and skills are particularly relevant to be successful as a student at Sternico?

Our focus is on software development for the railway industry. Your professional focus should therefore be either in the fields of computer science, automotive engineering or the railway world.

We will also be expanding in the areas of sales, social media, online marketing and tech recruiting in the medium term. You are welcome to join us now.

What is the working environment and atmosphere like for student employees at Sternico?

Student employees are part of a team from day one and are happy to take on their own areas of responsibility. We see the collaboration as part of further training – for both sides. This means that students can give us a lot of ideas, which we are happy to take on board.

Are there flexible working hours or is it possible to adapt my work to my studies?

Working hours can be flexibly adapted depending on your personal situation. It is also possible to work remotely/hybrid.

In a conversation with our recruiters, there is an initial exchange (via MS Teams) in which we can get to know each other, exchange expectations and discuss any open questions.
